These terms apply to saltlakekitchenremodel.com, run by Salt Lake Kitchen Remodel ("we", "us"), and to the text message program described below. By using the site you agree to them.

What we are

Salt Lake Kitchen Remodel is an advertising and referral service, not a contractor. We publish general information about kitchen and bathroom remodeling, take estimate requests, and pass each request to one independent remodeler with an active Utah contractor license who serves your area. We don't design, bid, contract, build or do any construction work, and we don't hold a contractor's license.

Remodelers are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. Any design, estimate, contract, price, schedule, permit, warranty and the work itself are between you and the remodeler. Before we pass requests to a remodeler, we check that its Utah contractor license is active, but we don't supervise its work. You can look up any Utah contractor's license with the Division of Professional Licensing at secure.utah.gov/llv before you sign anything.

Remodelers may pay us for the requests we pass them. You never pay us, and using this site costs you nothing.

Information on this site

Our pages explain remodeling, typical costs and local permit basics in general terms. They aren't a promise about your home or your price. Costs, permit rules, product specs and timelines change and vary from home to home, so confirm anything important with the remodeler or the city before you rely on it. The cost estimator gives a planning range from published figures; it isn't a quote.

Estimates and contracts

An estimate request isn't an order, and it doesn't obligate you to anything. The remodeler sets the price in a written estimate after it sees your home, and work starts only after you sign the remodeler's written contract. That contract, not this website, sets the price, the scope, the schedule and the warranty.

Text message (SMS) terms

• What you'll get: texts about your estimate request, such as confirming details and follow ups.
• How you join: by checking the optional, unchecked text box on one of our forms. Consent isn't a condition of any purchase.
• Frequency: message frequency varies.
• Cost: Msg & data rates may apply.
• Opt out: reply STOP to any message. We'll confirm, then stop. You can join again by asking us or by checking the box on a new request.
• Help: reply HELP, or call (385) 450-4329.
• Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• We never share or sell your text message consent. See our Privacy Policy.

Using the site

Please don't misuse the site: no spam or fake requests, no attempts to break or overload it, and no copying our content or photos for commercial use without permission. The photos are licensed stock images that show design styles; they belong to their owners and aren't projects by any particular remodeler.

Links to other sites

We link to city, state and other outside pages as sources. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content.

No warranties; limits

The website is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties about the site and its information, we aren't responsible for any remodeler's estimates, work or conduct, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site.

Utah law

These terms are governed by Utah law.
